Galileu is a Brazilian magazine focused on science, technology and culture. In a loose analogy, it has the same impact as Wired Magazine in the United States. It first began its publication in 1991 by Editora Globo.
Galileu has a circulation of 150,000. The first issue's topics centered around robots. I was invited by the editor at the time to do a six page story on Muslim women and the internet, approaching the delicate subject from aspects of religion, work, social life, arts and culture.
